This workshop is an interdisciplinary workshop on the overall topic of integrating mobile devices into the car ecosystem. It will bring together experts with various viewpoints (e.g. Original Equipment Manufacturer, User, Supplier, 3rd Party Developer) and various interests (Requirements Engineering, User Experience, Software Architecture) to discuss actual challenges for the integration of mobile devices.

General goal of the workshop is to furthermore bring together experts from the industrial and scientific domain to be able to find applicable solutions for integrating mobile devices into the car ecosystem. We want to discuss current research questions regarding Software Engineering and HMI as well as promising approaches to address the context of mobile and automotive.

The workshop should also show innovative approaches to fully integrate mobile devices in a holistic and consistent way into the car ecosystem. First results should discover how these different Software Engineering and HMI challenges could be addressed in a holistic way.

We welcome participants from various backgrounds interested in contemplated Software Engineering topics in the context of the mobile and automotive domain, both from a scientific as well as an industrial perspective. We especially want to emphasize the interdisciplinary focus of this workshop.
